The "Tiny Steps Within Art Workshop" was organized by the Vocational School of Istanbul Rumeli University, under the supervision of Instructor Reyhan KESGİN ÜZEN from the Graphic Design Program and Instructor Elif TÜREL from the Child Development Department.
The aim of this workshop was to increase the interest of kindergarten students in art and design, encourage them in art, and help them discover their interests in this field for the future. Special arrangements were made to highlight Picasso's artworks in order to stimulate their imagination and creativity. The workshop was designed for children aged 5-6 in kindergarten, utilizing specific methods to enhance their manual skills, support their visual identities, and transform their imaginations into tangible applications.
Moreover, this project, carried out through collaboration among students from different departments, provided an opportunity for them to develop skills such as teamwork and project management, while also enhancing their field experience.
