Istanbul Rumeli University, in accordance with its goals, aims to train professionals and technical personnel who have access to knowledge and skills, support their development with technology and information, adopted a lifelong education consciousness, strong communication skills, question, research, learn and produce, open to socialization, high creativity, with a sense of responsibility, and adopt modern education based on ethical values.
Our Vocational School continues its education and training activities with Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services, Transportation Services, Computer Technology, Law, Motor Vehicles and Transportation Technologies, Design and Management Organization Departments; Pastry and Breadmaking, Cookery, Civil Aviation Cabin Services, Civil Air Transportation Management, Computer Programming, Justice, Aircraft Technology, Graphic Design, Interior Design and Sports Management Programs in the Mehmet Balcı Campus.
In the Vocational School, students gain quality by differentiating themselves with professional elective courses as well as field courses they take in their departments in order to adapt to change with globalization in the rapidly developing age of information and technology.
As a Vocational School, our mission is to maximize the personal and professional development of our students by offering contemporary, applied, and industry-focused training, while simultaneously providing personal development courses. We aim to equip them with both professional and personal skills in line with the needs of the labor market, developing innovative individuals with strong ethical values. Our goal is to nurture students who are well-prepared to meet the needs of the industry and society with innovative and sustainable solutions, while maintaining a focus on excellence in education, academic success, and personal growth. We aspire to be a vocational school that is in harmony with digital and technological advancements, integrated with society, and committed to fostering excellence in education.

The Mother’s Day Workshop event was organized by the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services Department of the Vocational School at Istanbul Rumeli University in the practice kitchen on campus. During the event, students prepared colorful and artistic cookies specially designed for Mother’s Day. Rumeli Design Days 2026, organized by the Graphic Design and Interior Design Programs of the Vocational School at İstanbul Rumeli Üniversitesi, was held between April 27–30, 2026, at the Akın Akkan Conference Hall on the Mehmet Balcı Campus. An event titled The Art of Baklava: Online Training & Hands-on Workshop with Gülcemal Özer was organized by the Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services of Istanbul Rumeli University Vocational School. An event titled Ramp and Operations Management: Field Experiences was organized through the collaboration of Istanbul Rumeli University’s Departments of Aviation Management, Motor Vehicles and Transportation Technologies, Transportation Services, and the Aviation and Space Sciences Club. An event titled Journey into the World of Chefs: Three Inspiring Figures from Different Fields was organized by the Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services at Istanbul Rumeli University Vocational School, with the aim of introducing students who aspire to build a career in gastronomy to the various professional fields within the industry.
