The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences was established by the name Faculty of Engineering and Architecture in the 2017-2018 academic year and started education with the Departments of Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Interior Architecture. As of the 2021-2022 academic year, with the incorporation of the Departments of Architecture and Interior Architecture into the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences continues its education both at Mehmet Balcı Campus and Haliç Application and Research Campus with the Departments of Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Civil Engineering.
Four-year undergraduate education in the undergraduate departments of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences is carried out in basic sciences and professional research and development laboratories with practical experimental applications of theoretical knowledge. Professional knowledge courses and out-of-field knowledge courses are given in accordance with the BOLOGNA process. Modern technological facilities are utilized in educational activities related to theoretical and applied courses. Efficient and qualified engineering education is the primary goal, and in this context, all undergraduate departments of the faculty are in the process of MÜDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Education Programs) accreditation.
