İstanbul Rumeli University Faculty of Sports Sciences, aiming to enhance the quality of education in the field of sports sciences and to train innovative, guiding, participatory, and collaborative students in sports technologies, is established on a fully equipped practice area located in Kadıköy. The Faculty consists of departments of Coaching Education, Exercise and Sports Sciences, Exercise and Sports Sciences for People with Disabilities, Recreation, and Sports Management.
Our Mission is to be a leading faculty in the field of Sports Sciences, dedicated to training students at the highest level, producing sports science and sports technologies, and influencing the future of our country globally. We aim to be a faculty that continuously evolves, sets the standard for applied practices, and leads the way in the field of sports sciences.
Our Vision is to ensure the science- and technology-based development of the education, culture, health infrastructure, and human resources needed by Turkish sports. We are committed to the continuous improvement and enhancement of our physical spaces and infrastructure, while prioritizing academic and student satisfaction. We strive to implement an innovative, entrepreneurial, and employment-friendly academic program with the goal of becoming a world-renowned university in sports sciences. Additionally, we provide work opportunities during studies, facilitate internships, and take measures for vocational training in businesses focused on practical applications, advancing in a forward-thinking university model.
