The Istanbul Rumeli University Faculty of Sports Sciences, located in Bostancı, is built upon a fully equipped practical area, aiming to enhance the quality of education in the field of sports sciences and produce innovative, guiding, participatory, and collaborative students in the field of sports technologies. The faculty consists of the Coaching Education, Exercise and Sports Sciences Department, Exercise and Sports for Disabled Individuals Department, and Sports Management and Recreation departments.
Our vision is to be a constantly evolving faculty of sports sciences that educates students at the most advanced level in the field, produces sports science and sports technologies, influences the future of our country globally, and serves as an example for its applications, with a focus on leadership.
Our mission is to ensure the scientific and technological development of the education, cultural, and health infrastructure and human resources needed by Turkish sports. We continuously improve and enhance our physical facilities and infrastructure, prioritize academician-student satisfaction, aim to become a world university in the field of sports sciences, and implement an innovative, entrepreneurial, employment-friendly academic program based on a university model that provides opportunities for working while studying, takes measures for internships and practical on-the-job training.
