Istanbul Rumeli University, within its Faculty of Sports Sciences, is dedicated to providing education, teaching, and research services at international standards. Among the primary goals of the faculty are the education of young individuals in our country, the promotion of sports and Olympic culture, the discovery of talents, and the guidance of elite sports professionals.
The faculty offers theoretical and practical training in various departments and conducts internship activities in various fields of work as part of vocational training. In addition to these efforts, collaborations are established with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, sports federations, local governments, and sports clubs at various levels to ensure the multifaceted development of our students.
All these endeavors aim to graduate students who are competent in various fields of sports, adaptable to global developments, inclined towards innovative work, conscious of professional ethics, and capable of contributing to society. The Faculty of Sports Sciences adheres to a strong, principled, and innovative structure within the university model that is sensitive to the needs of society, interacts with other stakeholders, transforms knowledge into service, and is autonomous administratively, financially, and scientifically.
In addition to providing quality education, the Faculty of Sports Sciences offers various social, cultural, sports, and recreational activities to its students, aiming to provide a pleasant educational environment and support the economic, social, and cultural development of the surrounding community while also serving as a center for production and attraction.
Our main duty is to provide our students with opportunities to project into the future by combining the consciousness of being human with the digital technology era, utilizing the best possibilities of the age in education and training. Furthermore, through various collaborations in the field of sports, we prepare our students for professional life while they are still students, represent our university in individual, team, and competitive sports events, and work with professional academics to shape their futures.
