The Istanbul Rumeli University Institute of Social Sciences and Institute of Science were established in the fall semester of 2017-2018 academic year, under Istanbul Rumeli University Rectorate, in accordance with the Istanbul Rumeli University Postgraduate Education and Training Examination Regulation prepared in accordance with the 14th and 44th articles of the Law on Higher Education No. 2547.
On June 16, 2020, with the publication of Official Gazette No. 31157, the Institute of Science and the Institute of Social Sciences were closed and merged, and continued education as the Graduate Education Institute at the Haliç Application and Research Campus.
To be a recognized and distinguished educational institution nationally and internationally in terms of education and research, which has adopted a research and technology-focused approach and supports work towards societal needs.
The Graduate Education Institute, based on the philosophy of sustainable excellence and innovation, provides an education and research environment that is rational, productive, and inquisitive, with an emphasis on ethical values. It educates academically equipped individuals who can contribute to solving the world's problems. In addition, it reaches out to the community through university-public-industry collaborations and encourages the production, preservation, and dissemination of knowledge in this way.

Important:
- Ethics Committee meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every month.
- For this reason, the documents related to the applications to be made can be delivered on the first and second week of each month. Applications made after these dates will be included in the next meeting agenda.
- Application documents can be sent to the following e-mail address "all signatures are scanned Decently" due to the pandemic we are in between the dates indicated below. However, the originals must be delivered as soon as possible.
- Applications made with incomplete documents and with incomplete signatures will not be evaluated.
- Questions about applications and scanned application documents are only etikkurul@rumeli.edu.tr it should be sent to the e-mail address.
