The objectives of the center are to monitor global, regional, and national developments that affect the world and our country, especially the Rumeli region, conduct scientific research and meetings, carry out scientific publications and studies, develop projects for these purposes, collaborate, and share views and suggestions with relevant institutions and organizations.
To support formal or informal education activities in social and human sciences, particularly international relations, law, and economics, within the university, organize scientific research, projects, and scientific activities, publish papers and reports. Collaborate with domestic and international academic, scientific, and intellectual institutions for these activities. Develop policies to enhance our country's relations with Balkan countries, prepare scientific research and strategic studies, and organize reports. Develop collaboration opportunities with research centers of universities in Balkan countries and exchange information. Analyze and evaluate information obtained from scientific publications and open news sources, disseminate the generated information to national and international scientific conferences and publications, as well as the public, make it available for updating teaching materials and similar purposes, and develop the archive of strategic research. Organize evaluation meetings, seminars, conferences, symposiums, panels, and similar events to encourage research within the scope of the center's activities, announce the studies, and participate in scientific activities. Train expert and experienced staff and students in international relations and regional context at the university, organize courses and programs for education and research, and issue certificates within the scope of relevant legislation. Provide consultancy services to public and private institutions and organizations upon request. Conduct and commission R&D studies in line with the objectives of the center.
