The "Professional Knife Training Seminar" organized by the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at Istanbul Rumeli University, Faculty of Arts, Design, and Architecture, received great interest. During the seminar, Fırat ERBİL, the Corporate Training Expert of the leading knife brand PIRGE Academy, provided detailed explanations to the students about the types, features, and functions of knives they will use throughout their professional lives.
The seminar was not only attended by students of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts department but also by other individuals interested in the industry. This created an opportunity for knowledge exchange between newcomers to the industry and experienced professionals, allowing participants to learn from different perspectives. The event contributed to the professional development of participants by increasing diversity and collaboration opportunities in the industry.
In addition to Gastronomy and Culinary Arts students, the seminar was also followed by other relevant individuals. At the end of the training, three students were gifted professional chef knives through a draw organized by PIRGE.
