Istanbul Rumeli University Oral and Dental Health Program gives its students an associate degree diploma and the title of Oral and Dental Health Technician at the end of 2 years of education. Oral and Dental Health Program score type is TYT (Basic Proficiency Test) and the language of education is Turkish.
Our associate degree graduate students who have the title of Oral and Dental Health Technician can be employed in Oral and Dental Health Centers, state hospitals, university hospitals, private hospitals, dental prosthesis laboratories or private clinics.
Oral and Dental Health Program students can do a double major during their 2-year education, and if they get enough points by taking the DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam) after graduation, they can complete their undergraduate education and gain advantages in both earnings and preference in their professional life.
Rumeli an Education Method; In addition to the applied curriculum, it is prepared by industry representatives and lecturers who are experts in their fields, facilitating minor, double major and DGS opportunities, providing profit and preference in professional life.
It includes additional certificate programs within the Training Center.
In addition to national job opportunities, our students are given Career English courses after graduation, where they can follow the knowledge of their field in an international language and evaluate their job opportunities abroad.
Oral and Dental Health Program aims to train dental clinical assistants who will carry out the laboratory stages to assist the dentist, prepare the necessary environment for all clinical studies of the dentist in private practice, public or private dental polyclinics, and assist the patient during treatment. Duties of graduates of the Oral and Dental Health program; to prepare the clinical work environment, to help the dentist in the best way during the treatment of the patient, to follow the relations of the dentist with the prosthesis laboratory, to ensure that the patient's treatment is in a 'comfortable psychology', to follow the regular check-up of the patient every six months. .
Practice-based training of our Oral and Dental Health Program students is carried out in the Oral and Dental Health laboratories, practice classes and contracted practice hospital in our University. In this way, the qualifications required by the profession are fulfilled and our students are trained as well-equipped health personnel. Our Oral and Dental Health program students receive their practical training during the semester and during the summer months.

Oral and Dental Health Technician; They can work in public institutions such as dental hospitals, university hospitals, dental prosthesis laboratories, and they also have the opportunity to open a dental prosthesis laboratory and do their own work.
The language of instruction of the Oral and Dental Health Associate Degree Department is Turkish. General English courses required by YÖK are given by distance education. However, students whose General English level is B1 according to CEFR, They can request Career English courses conducted under the Continuing Education Center. Career English courses open the way for students to follow the knowledge of their field in an international language and to search for job opportunities abroad.
Students who successfully complete the associate degree education of Istanbul Rumeli University Oral and Dental Health Program, after the training they received from the expert academic staff of our university, with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) opened by OSYM;

After the first semester, our students who are placed in the Oral and Dental Health Program can transfer to the associate degree program of their choice according to the placement score type with horizontal transfer between in-house and external programs.
Horizontal transfer procedures can be applied in two ways with the criteria determined by the Higher Education Institution;
• Departments in accordance with the principles of internal and inter-institutional transfers with a Weighted Grade Point Average (AGNO); Dental Services Division all programs, Therapy and Rehabilitation Division all programs, Medical Services Division all programs, Health Services Care Division all programs, Child Care and Youth Services Division all programs
• Inter-institutional and intra-institutional transfer in accordance with the principles of lateral transfer with a central placement score.
Oral and Dental Health Program students have the right to receive a double major diploma from the associate degree health program they choose from the departments listed below, primarily all the programs of the "Department of Dentistry Services" within the scope of the double major.

The students of the Istanbul Rumeli University Oral and Dental Health Program are supported by the "specialized" Oral and Dental Health Technician certificate programs in the Clinical Departments of Dentistry given by the Continuing Education Center throughout the education period. The certificates to be issued follow the legislative updates. Students who successfully complete their certificate programs pass into professional business life by having the equipment needed in the international arena at the graduation stage.
