Istanbul Rumeli University Medical Imaging Techniques Program score type is TYT and the language of education is Turkish. The Medical Imaging Techniques Program gives its students an associate degree diploma and the title of Medical Imaging Technician at the end of 2 years of education.
Associate degree graduates with the title of Medical Imaging Technician can be employed in the Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Oncology units of public or private hospitals, as well as in private imaging centers, polyclinics and examinations.
The purpose of the Medical Imaging Techniques Program is; Within the scope of radiological imaging, which is indispensable in making early and accurate diagnosis in the health status of individuals and initiating the treatment process, it trains health personnel who can work with all conventional and digital devices of radiology, have knowledge and experience, and aim to increase the quality of radiological examinations and success in the profession.
Practice-based training of our students is carried out practically in our contracted practice hospitals, the competencies required by the profession are fulfilled and our students are trained as well-equipped health personnel. Our students receive practical training during the education period and during the summer months.
Students who successfully complete the Medical Imaging Techniques Program have the opportunity to continue their undergraduate education in one of the departments of Nursing, Nursing and Health Services with the Vertical Transfer Exam. The curriculum of the program has been prepared considering the students who want to continue their education at the faculty and it is aimed that they will not experience a semester loss.
Our students who benefit from the Rumeli Education Method can benefit from additional certificate programs that facilitate minor and double major opportunities, and provide profit and preference in professional life.
In addition to national job opportunities, our students are given Career English courses after graduation, where they can follow the knowledge of their field in an international language and evaluate their job opportunities abroad.
The education language of the Medical Imaging Techniques Program is Turkish. English courses required by YÖK are given by distance education. Students whose English level is B1 according to CEFR, I.R.Ü. They can request Career English courses conducted under the Continuing Education Center. Career English courses open the way for students to follow the knowledge of their field in international language and to search for job opportunities abroad.
Medical Imaging Techniques Program students have the right to receive a double major diploma from the associate degree program of their choice from the departments listed below, with priority in all programs of the "Department of Medical Services and Techniques" within the scope of double major, without extending the semester.

The students of Istanbul Rumeli University Medical Imaging Techniques Program are supported by the certificate programs given by the Continuing Education Center throughout their education period. The certificates to be issued follow the legislative updates. Students who successfully complete their certificate programs transition to professional business life with the equipment needed in the international arena at the graduation stage.
