a) The Administrative Unit Quality Commission consists of the Secretary-General as the Chairman, Deputy Secretary-General, Department Heads, and Office/Coordinator Responsibilities.
b) In the absence of the Secretary-General, the Deputy Secretary-General assumes the chairmanship of the Administrative Unit Quality Commission.
Working Principles of the Administrative Unit Quality Commission The Administrative Unit Quality Commission operates in accordance with the principles stated below in order to fulfill the tasks assigned to it:
a) The Administrative Unit Quality Commission meets at least 12 times a year upon the call of the Commission Chairman or a written request from the majority of the commission members. The meeting date is determined by the Chairman.
b) The Administrative Unit Quality Commission convenes with a simple majority of the total number of members and makes decisions with the simple majority of the attendees. In the event of a tie in votes, the decision is made in accordance with the Chairman's vote.
c) Office and personnel support services for the Administrative Unit Quality Commission are provided by the General Secretariat.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Administrative Unit Quality Commission The duties of the Administrative Unit Quality Commission are as follows:
a) Establishing an internal and external quality assurance system for the evaluation and improvement of administrative services in line with the university's strategic plan and objectives, determining unit quality indicators, and conducting related activities in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by the Quality Commission, and submitting a report containing these activities to the Istanbul Rumeli University Quality Commission according to the specified schedule.
b) Making necessary preparations regarding their units during the external evaluation process and providing all kinds of support related to their units during the audit process to the Higher Education Quality Board and external evaluators.
c) Working in collaboration with the Istanbul Rumeli University Quality Commission.
