A seminar on "The Effects of Massage on Health" will be held on May 25, 2023, at 14:30 via Zoom, organized by Istanbul Rumeli University, Vocational School of Health Services, Therapy and Rehabilitation Department. The seminar will feature the participation of Physiotherapist Çağıl Gündüz and Mediha Sağlam, the Founder of Mediha Sağlam Academy.
During the seminar, various topics related to massage will be discussed, including the Definition and Importance of Massage, Different Types of Massages, How to Become a Massage Instructor, Demand for Massage in Turkey and Worldwide, Areas of Use of Massage in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, and When and How to Apply Massage in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation. Additionally, there will be a discussion on the conditions in which massage should not be applied.
