An event for "World Girls' Day" was organized in the Akın Akkan Conference Hall at Istanbul Rumeli University’s Mehmet Balcı Campus, together with Child Development students.
The event was attended by Elif Türel, Instructor from the Child Development Department, and Doğukan Bayesen, Instructor from the Pastry and Bakery Department.
To highlight the significance of this day, the students of the child development program made pink muffins to draw attention to the inequalities faced by girls due to their gender. Through the event, the students not only had fun but also raised awareness about the issue.
