Istanbul Rumeli University’s Mehmet Balcı Campus Vocational School, Computer Technology Department organized an "IT Seminar" in the Akın Akkan Conference Hall. The seminar provided students and faculty members with the opportunity to closely follow the latest developments and dynamics in the field of information technology and software.
With globalization, continuously evolving technology increases the demand for IT personnel and computer technicians across various sectors. In line with this need, the seminar hosted valuable speakers from the IT and software industry for the students.
The first speaker, Songül ŞENYÜZ, Corporate Management Director of INTERMAT PACKAGING, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the impact of IT and software on the industry. ŞENYÜZ provided insights into current trends and innovations in the sector, discussing career opportunities in this field. She emphasized the role of information technologies in enhancing business efficiency and their importance in corporate management.
Following her, Ahmet ÖZDEMİR, Senior ERP Consultant at IAS Software Consultancy Inc., gave a detailed presentation on ERP software systems and system administration. ÖZDEMİR explained how ERP systems optimize business processes and highlighted key points to consider during the implementation and management stages. He also shared strategies and practical examples essential for a successful ERP project.
Throughout the seminar, students had the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers, gaining insights on topics they were curious about.
