November 10th Atatürk Commemoration Ceremony Held Across Our Campuses

Istanbul Rumeli University held commemoration ceremonies on three different campuses Mehmet Balcı Campus, Haliç Application and Research Campus, and Kadıköy Application and Research Campus in honor of the 86th anniversary of the passing of the Great Leader, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

The ceremonies at all campuses began with a moment of silence and the National Anthem. At the Mehmet Balcı Campus, the opening speeches were delivered by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çetin, while at the Kadıköy Application and Research Campus, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Can İkizler, gave the opening remarks.

During the ceremony at the Mehmet Balcı Campus, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kara, delivered a speech emphasizing the significance and importance of the day.

The program continued with a video presentation in memory of Atatürk, followed by presentations from various speakers: Doç. Dr. Süleyman Özmen, Director of the Global Policies Research and Practice Center at the Mehmet Balcı Campus, Prof. Dr. Ali Denizli, Head of the Atatürk Principles and Revolutions Department at the Haliç Application and Research Campus, and Dr. Burcu Belli, Lecturer in the Atatürk Principles and Revolutions Department at the Kadıköy Application and Research Campus.

As Istanbul Rumeli University, we commemorate the 86th anniversary of the passing of the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with love, respect, and gratitude, and continue to move forward tirelessly and relentlessly in the light of his principles.
