"Migration and Exchange Effects in the Balkans in the Present Historical Process" Panel

Istanbul Rumeli University hosted a panel on Migration and Exchange in the Balkans in the Historical Process. Rector of Istanbul Rumeli University Prof. Dr. Tamer Dodurka with the participation of experts panel in the field took place. At the panel, Rumeli Migration, Exchange and Migration Experiences Professor Süleyman Özmen moderated by Professor. Dr. Yusuf Adıgüzel, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Halaçoğlu, and Murat Lehimler were the speakers. Making the opening speech of the panel, the rector of the university Professor. Former President of the Turkish Historical Society Dr. Yusuf Halaçoğlu Prof. Dr. Yusuf Halaçoğlu, In his speech at the panel, he pointed out that there may be difficulties in the case of immigration if there are no cultural similarities and he said, “We have not had such a problem with the Balkans. After 500 years of living among the Turks, it completely embraced the Turkish culture. We see that these people did not suffer foreigners when they came to Anatolia. ”
