Istanbul Rumeli University Computer Programming Students Explored Future Technologies at the World's First Humanoid Robot Museum

First-year students from the Computer Programming Program of the Vocational School at Istanbul Rumeli University, guided by Lecturer Burcu Güldüren Fidancı and Lecturer Canmert Demir, visited the Istanbul Robot Museum for an educational field trip.

The Istanbul Robot Museum, the world’s first humanoid robot museum, aims to inspire visitors in the fields of science and technology by combining innovative experiences and modern applications. During the trip, students had the opportunity to closely observe robots with various functions and explore the potential of robotic technologies.

Throughout the field trip, students interacted with the Mini Ada robot, watched the dance performance of the latest social robot, Ada-7, and examined Akıncı robots. They also had the chance to play with an industrial robotic arm and were fascinated by the abilities of the four-legged robot Arat as it moved seamlessly across an obstacle course.

The department’s faculty members emphasized that such field trips significantly contribute to students' development of scientific thinking skills and broaden their industry vision. The students expressed their satisfaction with the unique experience, which allowed them to interact directly with robotic technologies.

As robotic technologies continue to evolve rapidly, students from the Computer Programming Program stated that the knowledge they gained at centers like the Istanbul Robot Museum would greatly contribute to their career planning. The trip became an unforgettable experience, allowing students to explore the boundaries of science and technology while gaining new perspectives on the world of the future.
