Istanbul Rumeli University proudly celebrated the graduation ceremony for the 2023-2024 academic year with great joy and pride. The event took place at our Mehmet Balcı Campus, where students shared the excitement of graduation with their families, academic, and administrative staff.
The ceremony began with an opening speech by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kara. In his address to the graduates, he stated, "Today marks an important milestone in your educational journey. As Istanbul Rumeli University, we take pride in nurturing you as the leaders of the future. Congratulations to all of you, and I wish you continued success."
Following the opening speech, awards were presented to top students from various faculties of the university.
The plaque for the top student in the Faculty of Sports Sciences was presented by Silivri District Governor Tolga Toğan, while the plaque for the top student in the Faculty of Arts, Design, and Architecture was given by Beyoğlu District Governor Can Aksoy. Eyüpsultan District Governor İhsan Kara presented the plaque for the top student in the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, and Silivri Deputy Mayor Emine Tarin awarded the top student in the Faculty of Health Sciences. The plaque for the top student in the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences was presented by our Board of Trustees Chair, Veterinarian Nazlı Hilal Balcı, and the plaque for the top student in the Vocational School was given by Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kara. Finally, the plaque for the top student in the Health Services Vocational School was awarded by Balcı Foundation President Fikriye Balcı.
The top students expressed their gratitude to their classmates and faculty members through graduation speeches.
The ceremony concluded with the graduates throwing their caps into the air, a moment celebrated with applause from families and friends.
