On November 29, 2024, Istanbul Rumeli University organized a technical trip to the Rahmi Koç Museum for students from the Aircraft Technology, Civil Aviation Cabin Services, and Civil Air Transport Management programs. The trip was led by Lecturer Fatma Meltem AY from the Civil Aviation Cabin Services department.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to closely examine various transportation vehicles, aircraft, and historical artifacts related to aviation on display at the museum. The Rahmi Koç Museum provided valuable insights into aviation and allowed students to make important observations about the development of transportation and aviation technologies from the past to the present.
These types of technical trips are aimed at providing students with industry knowledge and hands-on experience, while also helping to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application. The university places great importance on ensuring that students aspiring to careers in the aviation sector stay updated on industry developments and gain in-depth knowledge of the field.
