Istanbul Rumeli University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts organized a seminar titled "Food Safety and Hygiene in Food and Beverage Businesses" within the scope of the Sectoral Applications course. Expert Dietitian Damla Dönmez, who is highly experienced and equipped in the sector, attended the seminar as a speaker.
Expert Dietitian Damla Dönmez explained in detail all the rules that students should apply to protect food and be hygienic in the kitchens where they work and receive training. In the seminar, students had the opportunity to consolidate valuable information that they will use in the application kitchen where they take courses and in the kitchens where they will work when they enter the sector.
The information and sectoral experiences shared throughout the seminar helped the students to be prepared for the possible problems they will encounter in their professional lives.
