An art exhibition and the launch of the "Healing Through Art" project were held at the Akatlar Culture Center, hosted by the Child Family Development and Education Foundation (ÇAGEV), in collaboration with the Social Responsibility Application and Research Office (SORUM) of Istanbul Rumeli University.
The opening ceremony and project launch were attended by Hüseyin A. BALCI, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Ayşe YİĞİT ŞAKAR, Vice Rector and SORUM Coordinator.
Participants enjoyed exploring the exhibition, featuring numerous valuable artworks, before joining a discussion event. The panel included contributions from Professor Psychoanalyst Tevfika İkiz, Painter Mehmet Sinan Kuran, Writer and Regional Director Nebil Özgentürk, and Curator Denizhan Özer. The discussion centered around the question, "Why is there destructiveness in our country?" Each speaker shared valuable insights from their unique perspectives.
This meaningful event illuminated societal inquiries through art, offering participants a deeply thoughtful experience.
